 12 years just isn’t long enough.
I am so thankful to have had longer then expected with you. Everywhere we went, people would remark how they haven’t seen such an old Corso and how great you looked. I am so thankful that you never had a bad day. You were perky and well up until the last hours. I am so thankful to have experienced so many firsts with you. Learning to show, to have an interest in dog sports. I just wish I knew of all of the different sports available when you were younger! You were my first show dog, first AKC owner handled Champion (starting even before the breed was AKC recognized), UKC Grand Ch, Canine Good Citizen. Just this summer, a few weeks shy of 12 years, you got to attend two shows as a veteran. In August, it was a hot day and you were tired, but as soon as you pranced into the ring, your tail was up, with a big smile, especially as you heard the clapping through your ears that didn’t work as well as they once did. You stood proud and gaited perfectly, despite not doing it for 10 years. Such a smart ol’ lady. You lived to protect your home and family. You were a fierce mother to 3 litters, and adoptive mom to so many more after that. I could go on an on and on but in short, you are such a strong dog. I know you were getting frustrated with your body, not moving as it once did. I hope now you are free and will come back in a new fresh one, and find a way back to me, to us. A once-in-a-lifetime love affair.
I am so thankful to have experienced such a pure and mutual devotion to each other. From the moment I held your wet little body on that late night in December, which seems like such a short time ago, I knew our souls were connected. We did so much together - shows, therapy work, rally obedience, so many hikes with your doggie friends and ice cream adventures. It's almost ice cream season, my Queen Bean, I really wish you were here to enjoy it. I miss you so much I can hardly breathe. I miss your gigantic head on my leg at night and how you would get (no- demand) snuggles before going to "your spot" every night by pulling my arm to your star to be scratched. I miss you going "belly up" for tummy rubs, and reassuring me when I woke up from a bad dream. I miss calling "Shay-nie!" and reminding you to "use your stairs" to get on the bed (a product of old age and bad knees). I miss your rhythmic snoring and how you would beg for (and of course, get) my bedtime snacks. I miss your goofy excited wail when you saw your leash, wanted a car ride, or heard the food bin, the way you would look back at me on an adventure as if to say "Come ON mom!" You ruled the roost and all the dogs respected you. I will never forget the time you walked out on the patio and all the dogs bowed to you. It was like a scene from the Lion King. And you were so proud. You looked at me and smiled your Grand Canyon sized smile. I miss my OB partner. We were supposed to do our CD together... but I love that we got to do rally and that the judges would recognize and comment on our relationship (that is truly better than any score) and how happy you were to be my partner, and I yours. I miss your soulful stare when we had so many wordless conversations. You always knew my thoughts. I like to think you still do... I could go on forever writing words of honor to my bestest beastie, my Shaynie, Bean, Neaner, Dawgy Woggy, Mooskie, Queen Bean, but instead, I will honor your memory every day. Judges have time and time again commented on her docile temperament, outstanding movement, correct head piece and body structure. Mirage is very agile, with remarkable reach and drive. What I love most about Mirage is her unmistakable charisma: her presence demands that everyone pay attention to her! She is a very sweet, well behaved, and intelligent girl. She is a certified Therapy Dog.

Handled by Ashley Cuzzolino, she also has her AKC Championship and major wins towards her Grand Championship.
She is very focused on pleasing her "people." Incredibly intelligent, with a super work ethic, she is the dog I selected to work with as I attend the KPAcademy of Dog Training. She has her CGC title, and now boasts a Best In Show at just 11 months old as well as taking Best of Breed at the 2015 UKC Top Ten Invitational in Michigan!

Tola is a once in a lifetime dog. As the saying goes, sometimes we get the dog that we need, not necessarily the dog we want. Tola teaches me so much every day. We have built a bond unlike any of the others. She is smart. She challenges me. She is incredibly beautiful and versatile. She loves to work and has energy to spare. She needs a job. She is incredibly loyal and protective. She loves to romp and play with other dogs.
We have so much fun trying new dog sports. We have been involved in Rally Obedience, Weight pull, Barn Hunt, Bitework, Lure Coursing, Agility and Conformation. Fiarra was the most kind, loving and genuinely happy dog that I have ever met. She loved every single person she met, and especially loved her job as a Therapy Dog, particularly as a Tail Waggin' Tutor. She had so much empathy and connected to people on a different level.
Her tail was forever wagging and her soulful eyes looking for snuggles and love. Her passing is such a tremendous loss for us.

Fiocchi is a wonderful lady. She is everything that we have been striving to produce! She is very sweet, gentle and loves attention. She is social with all people that she has met and loves to play with her puppy playmates as well. She is our matron of our Doggie Daycare program and the "test"dog for social manners in incoming dogs. She is just a gem that we could not be more happy to spend our life with. She is a great combination of her dam, Fiarra, and her sire, Kevlar in both looks and temperament.

She just wanted a chin scratch and would smile at positive words. I called her "Bob Marley" because she was always so calm when working. She loved to visit schools and the local libraries. She would stand calmly, seeking out pets with her kind eyes. She especially loved her stop (space between her eyes) rubbed. It would put her into a trance. She loved balls and would play fetch longer than any Corso I know. Always with a play growl and an uncontrollable tail wag. And the pouncing... She loved to pounce and roll. She loved her babies.
